On Sunday, the Hon. Governor chaired the Ministerial Session. He emphasized the importance of integration describing it as 'a powerful catalyst for progress that bridges gaps, fosters collaboration, and empowers our economies.'

Earlier on Saturday, the Governor proffered solutions to the current debt crisis of the continent. The Governor suggested the speedy establishment of the Africa Monetary Institute (AMI), and a multifaceted approach to address the debt crisis by collaborating with fiscal authorities.

The honorable Governor also pointed out the importance of advocating for reforms in the global financial architecture to make it more inclusive saying, 'We must push for a global economic governance structure that is more equitable and responsive to our needs.'

Lastly, the Governor calls for innovative financing mechanisms such as 'diaspora and green bonds to fund environmentally sustainable projects.'
